January 25: God Commands Human Beings to Love Others

����������� Leviticus 19:18, 33-34; Mark 12:31; 1 John 4:7-21

����������� The true measure of understanding the Word of God comes in the way we live as Christians.� It�s not always easy for Christians to walk according to the Word when we encounter the sins of the world every day.� We face obstacles and events that challenge our faith daily.� But when we trust God and rely on His Word, He gives us strength to hurdle those obstacles (Lev. 19:18).

����������� Obviously, it is easier to show love to those who love us, but we are called to love and serve all of our brothers and sisters.� �Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself� (Mark 12:31).� If the love of God is His first commandment, it is only appropriate that the love of humankind be His second (Mark 12:31).
