February 1: What is Christian Love?
����������� John 3:16; Romans 5:6-8
����������� Christian love is not the same as romantic love.� �Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love: (Rom. 12:10).� We as Christians are called to extend our hearts to all humankind.
����������� No greater Christian love has been evident than the love of Jesus.� He lived and died to save us from sin.� Jesus� death on Calvary is the epitome and essence of Christian love.
����������� Christians are sometimes accused of being so heavenly minded that they are no earthly good.� God�s children are to show compassion toward others (Col. 3:13).� As Christians we are called to ministry and servitude toward all humankind.� As God grants us mercy, kindness, and forgiveness, we are called to do the same.
