How to Think Like a World-Class Christian

III. Shift from “here and now” thinking to eternal thinking
IV. Shift from thing of excuses to thinking of creative ways to fulfill your commission
Chapter 39: Balance your Life
Points to Ponder
God’s Five Purposes For Your Life
“Love God with all your heart” You were planned for God’s Your worship
 pleasure, so your purpose
 is to love God
“Love your neighbor You were shaped for serving, Your ministry
as yourself” so your purpose is to show
 love to others
“Go and make disciples” You were made for a mission. Evangelism
so your purpose is to share
 God’s message
“baptize them into...” You were formed for God’s Fellowship
family, so your purpose is to
 identify with His church
“teach them to do all things...” You were created to become like Discipleship
Christ, so your purpose is to grow
 to maturity
“A great commitment to the Great commandment and the Great Commission will make you a great Christian.”
Four activities to help balance God’s 5 purposes for my life.
I. Talk it through with a spiritual partner or small group
II. Give yourself a regular spiritual check-up
III. Write down your progress in a journal
IV. Pass on what you know to others
