January 11:� The Depth of God�s Love

������������������ Genesis 1:26-30; 2:8-9, 15; 3:14-15; Romans 5:8

������� God clearly shows His promise of love in he book of Romans.� Romans 5:10 says, �For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son; much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life�.� Here God made the ultimate promise of salvation for those who recognized the greatest sacrifice of any parent.� The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus were and are the true meaning of God�s love.

��������� The sacrifice of His Son, Jesus, was to be an example of the everlasting life we as Christians will share with the Father.� Through His promise and sacrifice, we are sustained in the knowledge that God�s Word is truth.� His love redeems us.

��������� God promises to redeem us of our sins (Exod. 6:6) and embrace us with His love.� When we accept Christ as the head of our lives, He begins to reveal, more closely, His promises.� By following His Word, we grow closer to Him and understanding His grace.
