The Women�s Mission meets the third Wednesday of the month at 7:30 PM.  This section contains the weekly lessons taken from the Woman�s Home & Foreign Mission Society 2004 Guide and Program Book.  Lessons are added each week for you to study in preparation for the meetings.

 

November 21 Mission Lesson: Christian Love

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 13

 

 Much emphasis is placed on this little word �love, and for good reason.  Everything essential to the Christian way of life is centered around love.  All of our deeds, acts, prayers, and sufferings should be in love � love for the Father and for one another.  And as we are sent with these instructions: �And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity� (1 Cor. 13:13).

 Christian love is a positive attribute that should be used to encourage God�s people through patience, kindness, and humility.  Through Christian love we display the greatest of all Christian virtues.
