The Women�s Mission meets the third Wednesday of the month at 7:30 PM. This section contains the weekly lessons taken from the Woman�s Home & Foreign Mission Society 2004 Guide and Program Book. Lessons are added each week for you to study in preparation for the meetings.
September 19: Forgiveness in Times of Conviction
Scripture: Isaiah 1:18
God desires to forgive us of our sins and to restore divine fellowship with Him. Through reasoning with the Father, we begin confession and repentance, thus receiving His forgiveness. �Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be a white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool� (Isa. 1:18).
This passage explains that when we present ourselves to the Father and confess our sins through this fellowship, He has promised to restore us. This commitment to redeem His children is promised through the blood of Jesus. Through faith we are cleansed of our sins. God welcomes our repentance and desires to forgive us to accomplish His greater good. Spend time with the Father so that you may gain strength from His lovingkindness and unconditional love.
